Description

A polymer modified cementitious topcoat for smooth finishing over interior cement rendered and concrete surfaces.

Uses

QuickMix™ QuickSkim™ (388) is a polymer modified cement-based topcoat for smooth finishing over cement-rendered surfaces and concrete surfaces. It is specially formulated to provide better workability and adhesion with the addition of polymer additives. It should not be used on painted surfaces.

Technical Data

Surface Preparation

• All surfaces must be clean, free from dust, oil and any trace of foreign materials.
• For dry or high absorbing substrates, moisten the surface with water prior to application.

Mixing

• Mix one bag (25 kg) of QuickMix™ QuickSkim™ with approximately 9.5 litres of water.
• Mix thoroughly with an electrical mixer for 3-5 minutes until the desired homogeneous paste is achieved.
• Ensure the mix is free from lumps before use.
• Remix for 1 minute if the mixed paste is left unused for more than 30 minutes.

Application

• Apply QuickMix™ QuickSkim™ onto the surface with a steel trowel.
• If application requires a few layers, the underneath layers must be dry before applying the subsequent layers.

Packaging

• QuickMix™ QuickSkim™ is packed in 25 kg bags.

Storage

• QuickMix™ QuickSkim™ should be stored in dry place free from excessive moisture.
• It has a shelf life of 6 months in its original packing.

Health & Safety

• QuickMix™ QuickSkim™ is non-hazardous. However, Lafarge Drymix recommends that appropriate safety equipment be worn by workers handling this product, including dust masks, rubber gloves, full eye protection and boots where necessary. In cast of contact with eyes, wash with plenty of water. If irritation persists, seek immediate medical attention. For further information, refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet.

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING TERMS & CONDITIONS.

Delivery Date

Delivery Date must be minimum 3 (Three) working days in lead time and not exceeding 14 (Fourteen) working days from the date of Sale Order. The actual delivery date will be subjected to manufacturer's approval and confirmation.

Proof of Delivery

Delivery Order must be accepted and acknowledged by the authorized receipient. Official company stamp, receipient's name and signature must be indicated clearly in the Delivery Order.

Site Access

The delivery site must be accessible by transporting vehicle, failure which, manufacturer reserves all rights to cancel the order, and impose penalty charges as indicated .
